1. Overview
MoSlide is a presentation creation and delivery application for Apple devices. We designed the app so that presentation files and most editing activity stay on your device or in storage you choose.
This Privacy Policy applies to the MoSlide app and this website. It does not apply to third-party services that you choose to use with MoSlide.
2. Information we handle
Presentation content
Your slides may contain text, images, video, audio, links, spreadsheets, and other content you add. MoSlide processes this content to provide the features you request. Presentation files remain in the location you select unless you choose to share or export them.
Device permissions
MoSlide may request access to files, photos, the camera, microphone, audio output, screen recording, or the local network when a feature needs it. Access is used only after you grant permission, and you can change permissions in your device settings.
Website motion preference
When you pause or resume animation on this website, your browser stores that preference locally so it can be remembered on a later visit. This setting is not sent to MoSlide. You can remove it by clearing this website’s browser storage.
Support information
If you contact support, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or a copy of a presentation you voluntarily provide.
3. Feature-specific processing
Interactive presentations
When you start an interactive activity, MoSlide may use the local network to connect participants and process responses for the live session. The presenter controls the session and any results saved into the presentation.
AI Connections on Mac
AI Connections is off by default. If you enable it, pair a local assistant, and grant it access, that assistant can read content from approved presentations, including text, notes, comments, linked addresses, media, previews, and exports. It can also read or write files in folders you approve. An assistant can create new presentations, which are automatically accessible to that connection. Playback, recording, and live-device access require separate permissions for the current app session.
The connection between MoSlide and the assistant runs locally on your Mac. Your assistant may send the content it receives to its AI provider, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, depending on the assistant you configure. That provider handles the content under its own privacy, retention, and training policies. Review those policies before granting access to private or personal information. MoSlide does not operate a cloud relay for these connections or send this content to us.
In Settings > AI Connections you can remove presentation and folder access, turn off live permissions, revoke a connection, or disable AI Connections. Presentation and live permissions reset when MoSlide closes or AI Connections is disabled. Folder grants and paired connection credentials persist until you remove them. Revoking access stops future access through MoSlide; it does not delete copies already received by an assistant or provider. Contact that provider to manage those copies.
Google Sheets values
If you add a value from Google Sheets, MoSlide requests the sheet or CSV address you provide. When live refresh is enabled, the app repeats that request at the interval you select while the slide is being presented. MoSlide does not ask for or store your Google account password. Access to the sheet is governed by the sharing settings you choose in Google.
Audio, video, and countdowns
Media and countdown sounds are processed to play them in your presentation. If you use the microphone or camera, MoSlide asks for permission before access.
Presentation recording
When you choose Play & Record, MoSlide captures the display used for the presentation and its on-screen audio. If you grant Microphone access on a supported device, the recording can also include your microphone. The finished movie is saved locally in the MoSlide Documents folder; MoSlide does not upload it. You are responsible for telling people and obtaining any permission required before recording their image, voice, screen, or content.
Remote control, drawing, and microphones
Remote controls, slide previews, live drawing, and Remote Mic audio travel between the presenting device and an authenticated iPhone or iPad over the local network while the presentation is running. Connected Mic audio is processed on the presenting Mac. MoSlide does not send these streams to us. Live Captions process the selected microphone with Apple's speech recognition services and device capabilities, subject to the permissions you grant and Apple's applicable terms.
4. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal information and MoSlide does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
Information may be processed by Apple when you download, test, purchase, or send diagnostic information about MoSlide through the App Store or TestFlight. Apple handles that information under its own privacy policy. Connected content such as Google Sheets is handled by its provider under the permissions and sharing settings you choose.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect people from harm, or to defend the security and legal rights of MoSlide and its users.
5. Retention and security
Presentation files and recordings stay until you delete them from your device or chosen storage. Live session information, including remote drawing and audio streams, is kept only as needed to run the session unless you deliberately save results. Support messages are retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
