Overview
TaplyCue is an event survey application operated by Judge Studios. It is designed to collect and manage survey responses locally on the device where the app is installed.
Information stored by the app
The app may store:
- survey questions and answer options configured by an administrator;
- selected or typed survey answers;
- the date and time of each response;
- appearance and survey-flow settings; and
- an optional four-digit administrator PIN.
Administrators choose the questions shown in the app. They should avoid asking for personal or sensitive information unless they have an appropriate reason and lawful basis to do so.
How information is used
Stored information is used only to operate the survey, show saved responses to the device administrator, and create reports or exports when requested.
Data sharing and collection
TaplyCue does not create user accounts and does not transmit survey data, identifiers, diagnostics, or usage analytics to us. The app contains no advertising or tracking technology and does not sell personal information.
When an administrator exports a report or CSV, the device share sheet lets them send the file to a destination they select. From that point, the destination service’s terms and privacy practices apply. We do not receive the exported file unless the administrator deliberately sends it to us.
TaplyShare can transfer reports directly between nearby devices running TaplyCue. The transfer is initiated by the administrator and does not send the data to our servers.
Your choices and deletion
Device administrators can delete individual responses or all responses from within the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes its local database, subject to the device platform’s backup and deletion behaviour. Exported copies must be deleted from their chosen destinations separately.
Security and retention
Data remains on the device until an administrator deletes it, clears the app’s storage, or uninstalls the app. The optional PIN limits ordinary access to settings, but it is not a substitute for device encryption, a device passcode, or appropriate physical security.
Children’s privacy
The app is a general-purpose event tool and is not directed to children. Event organisers are responsible for ensuring that their survey content and use of responses comply with applicable age, consent, and privacy requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
