The sign
One screen, no clutter
The sign fills the display. The only control is a small button in the corner, and after five seconds it fades to barely-there so it does not spoil the picture — a tap anywhere brings it back.

Built to be read from across a room
Every setting sits on one page with a live preview pinned to the top, so you can judge a change before going back to full screen. There is no save button — changes are written as you make them.
11 typefaces
Anton, Bebas Neue, Archivo Black, Bungee, Oswald, Montserrat, Inter, Playfair Display, Lobster, JetBrains Mono and Press Start 2P — each previewed in its own type.
Colours
Text and background from 14 presets or a full hue, saturation and brightness picker. Turn on a gradient to fade between two.
Photo background
Put any picture from your library behind the words, filled or fitted, with a darken slider so the message stays readable.
Stickers
Up to 12 photos, animated GIFs and arrows, placed by hand. Drag to move, pinch to scale and turn. GIFs animate on the sign.
Animation
Flash, Pulse, Zoom, Slide, Marquee, Typewriter or Rainbow, with a speed control. Or hold perfectly steady.
Light effects
Glow, Neon or Shine, layered over the words on top of whatever animation is running. A sign can scroll and glow.
Arrows
Eight directions, three styles, five positions including arrow-only, its own size, colour and animation.
Three saved signs
Keep three ready and switch between them. Edits go into the one showing and the other two stay exactly as you left them.
Display
Portrait or landscape by choice, not by how you happen to be holding it. Turn it upside down, set the edge margin, and keep the screen awake while the sign is up.
Home-screen widget
Put the sign that is showing on your home screen, small, medium or large. The words are re-fitted to each size, and the widget updates as soon as you change the sign.

Three taps to a sign

Type it
Open Settings, tap the message box and say what you need to say. The preview at the top sizes it as you type.

Dress it
Pick a typeface and colours. Add an arrow if you are pointing somewhere, a photo if you want a backdrop, an animation if you want to be noticed.

Hold it up
Go back to the sign. The screen stays awake, the button fades, and the message is as large as the glass will allow. Want it to hand without opening the app? Add the widget to your home screen.
Nothing leaves your device
BIGtextSIGN makes no network requests at all. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Your signs and any pictures you choose are stored on the device and nowhere else — deleting the app deletes them.
